I understand you wrote average speed but speeds on 4G vary a lot depending on our location. But yes I have sometimes streamed stuff on tv using vodafone connection. It is okiesh.

I'm sorry but I'm unable to see where this 2tb is mentioned. Could you help us out.

This is on prepaid though, I have proper 3CA enabled phone which gives 10-15mbps on Vi prepaid, On Jio it is 40-50mbps!!

So its a unlimited plan, capped at 2TB. Thats actually a crazy amount of data.

Now only if I could get proper coverage ;)

True. At this place in Pune, without even a CA enabled dongle, I was getting 40m speeds. Jio was giving the same speeds on a CA enabled device, non CA dongle it went to 10m. Unfortunately I could not check CA speeds for Vi

I have no fiber at my place hence from last 2 months started using old VI sim that was lying for overnight downloads. Midnight to morning 6 a.m no usage is counted and on recharge of Rs 299 I get 4Gb/day for 28 days. A good overnight haul is up to 22-27 GB + weekend data rollover too. I use airtel 4G for my daytime use and schedule the downloads for night on VI. Working "Okay" for me in absence of any fiber connection.
Speeds are poor, maxing at 1.1 MBps on an average and 500-800KBps is what I get most of the time. I'm using it in an unlocked Airtel WiFi device but anyway no CA available on VI at my location. Have to lock it to 1800 band because on 2100 speeds are poorer.

What is "CA" ?

ELI5 - your phone connects to 2 or more bands and uses it simultaneously. Think of it as similar to 40Mhz on WiFi vs 20Mhz channels, but in reverse ie your phone is kinda merging them.

Another issue - dual SIM phones sometimes have problems with CA. Cannot confirm entirely, but this is why I prefer to use a single SIM and keep 2 phones.

Checked speeds on the postpaid connection -- Getting 30mbps + always on Speed tests.

Not sure if anyone's really cross 500GB on this plan.
