My wired router is bricked after running solid for four years and I'm planning to buy a wireless one. Not having a wired router means I need a wireless one with Modem, right? Router range needs to be very basic and price range as low as possible 
I've searched a lot and people have bought various routers from D-Link, Netgear, Linksys, Asus etc. So, I'm highly confused. Is it possible to get one for 1.5k? Or under 2k? I asked the guy at a local computer shop nearby and he said the range starts from 2.1k and that was iBall....
Anyway, suggestions will be highly appreciated as I'm very confused about this.
