As any other wireless charging kit, this has 2 parts, charging pad, which is genuine Palm pad and charging coil, which fits on the back of S3. No mod is required on the phone, you have just to put the coil on the back of the phone with 2 connectors touching the connectors of the phone. The back cover very easily and there is hardly any bulge. The charging pad sticks to the phone securely and there are no chances of it slipping down. See video for the demo.

Note: The kit only tested to works with Samsung Galaxy S3. I really have no idea whether it can be made work to with any other phone. You can try though
