Am looking for a good pair of wireless headphones and have some queries regarding these (I've never used these before).

1. Is a pair of bluetooth enabled headphones the best choice (BTW how much does a decent bluetooth dongle cost) ?
2. Which are the recommended brands for these (I generally prefer Philips, because they look like they are the most comfortable fit).
3. Do these come with mic by default (seeing as they are blue tooth)?
4. Can we move between rooms when talking on these?
5. Approx cost for one of these?

TIA

Ive got the dell bh-200 from KMD they cost 1950 Rs and hav a range of 10 meters thats 30ft i presume ....so if thats enuff for u....the bass on these headfones is awsum and yes it has a inbuilt mic + fwd/pause/rwd/vol buttons and u can connect it to ur cellfone as well which is what im using it for :P i have used it with my comp as well tho without any glitches

a bluetooth dongle hardly costs around 200 odd u dont need a "branded" one....

ive been using this chinese faker for aroun 2 yrs...

the sound quality thought any bluetooth headphone is decent enough, but i am not the range is kinda ok. not exactly 10 mtrs, but yeah within the room if fine enough

how big is dell-bh200?? i hope it aint too bulky!!

I too am looking for decent wireless bluetooth headphones! Motorola S9 bluetooth active headphones look real nice nd futuristic but many ppl recommend against it!!:( :S

can neone here confirm that??

Tks!:)

BTW what are the other transmission options we have for wireless headsets?
I have heard of IR, FM and Bluetooth. Are these correct and are there any others?

RF is also there!

I have wireless FM ones!! Though they r huge! they sound like cr@p!! + a lotta interference! so no good!:(

dunno about others!:S

i had a local crappy IR ones. horrible sound and a lot of interference. branded ones might be better, but i think the bluetooth ones have the advantage of having a mic plus the inbuilt lithium battery.

dell headset is pretty compact.

There's an IR Philips wireless available for 1800 bucks.
Sennhiser starts from
HS120- Rs.2500

Would be great if I could get the model number of the Philips and from where you got the price?

noob question...can a DELL BH-200 be used with an Ipod or other MP3 players? If yes, what do you need to buy? do you even get bluetooth dongles for Ipods and other MP3 players?

or Motorokr S9 - HD - Motorola MOTOROKR S9-HD Bluetooth Stereo Headphone 89274N at TigerDirect.com

i know S9 - HD is overpriced but its sleek too!! nd i'll be able to listen to music in ma college w/o lookin like a total music geek with huge headphones!! lol :ohyeah:

Thanks very much, I will try this out soon as my BT headsets are lying without use since months. Now, finally they will get a chance to work!

I am looking for these primarily for use with my laptop (music / messenger). If they work with my cell phone that would be an added advantage.

So I think headphones would be a better choice (not a headset right)?
