Okay I need to get myself a wireless internet device. I am fine with paying the initial Rs. 3000 to buy the device. But, I do not wish to spend more than Rs. 800 per month. I would be fine with a speed of 1Mbps though the limit should be good.

The device will be purchased in Delhi, and us will be Delhi and NCR (Hope NCR would not come under roaming.)

Expecting the best solutions.

Well go for reliance netconnect broadband+ device will cost 2299 and speed will be anytime 1mbps above in my experience of 1.5 yrs of use. i always get 200+ download speed. delhi ncr is same circle so no roaming. as far as plans are concern there are many plans according to you budget so decide according to use. network and speed is no issue in reliance plans are better then tata and mts.

here a link for reliance broadband+ plans Reliance Wireless Internet - Get Wireless Internet Postpaid Plans only on Reliance Communications

hope this will help :)

Thanks a lot Delguy19, has anyone had any experience with Airtel ?

I have seen on their website that they offer Unlimited for 999 has anyone tried out their service and what are the speeds like. Reliance plans seem to have pretty bad data limit.

Well airtel will not be fast as u need 1 mbps and it wont be 256kbps even so stay away from that if u care for speed else if going for airtel better take reliance 1x net connect with speed upto 150kbps and 600 unlimited a month

With the speeds you require, most of the plans I researched for Wireless BB are capped at 15GB (DL+UL). Quite shi$$$ to be honest. Though if your appetite is satisfied with 15GB, these plans+devices are the way to go. Install some traffic monitoring device (BT Monitor) to keep a check on data traversed on your ports -- since their switch data (at least for Tata) has a lag of 48 hours. And the in device/on system data monitoring software is sub-par.
