Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Freinds going to states for a week and can bring whatever I want back. I am thinking of buying a wireless keyboard and mouse from newegg, budget around 50$ but can be pushed till 70 dollars if product is good. (I am also contemplating just to buy wireless mouse logitech MX-1000 for 50 dollars). For me whats most important is the range, I should be able to use the keyboard from at least 7 feet. Preferably an IR keyboard, as I have a Microsoft IR reciever that came wiht MCE remote which has a great range. Let me know guys which keyboard mouse combo or mouse alone I should buy.

Logitech MX 5000.

U get Mx 1000 laser mouse and an awesome wireless keyb. I bought it in Jan this year for approx 100 USD.
