PC Peripherals Wireless mouse (NiCd rechargeable batteries)

I have Nicd and NiMH AA batteries. And I have observed that wireless/cordless mice dont work longer(some dont work at all) on these batteries becoz each of them is 1.2v against alkaline batteries that give 1.5v like Duracell(very costly).

So ia anyone using wireless mouse along with NiCd/Nimh rechargeables? Suggest me one. Not costlier than 1.5k.
 
I have been using the Logitech EX90 wireless desktop combo with NiMH cells for over 2 years now.

No problem at all.
