Hey all, sorry if this has been answered in the past but I am tired and fed up with searching for the answer (even if there is one to be found).
I have a Dell Inspiron 9100 laptop /w 2gb of ram and I had a perfectly working DLink DWL-G650 cardbus nic in it. I finally got around to setting up my xbox360 on the network and flashed my router (DLink DGL-4300), I had 2 PCs and the laptop on the wireless segment of the lan. One PC still connects fine to the router, the other PC doesnt connect (I have not looked at this machine yet) and the laptop sporadically connects then immediatly disconnects. IPCONFIG says "Media State : Media Disconnected", but the card shows up as operating normally in device manager.
It was set to static IP when it was working, I have tried DHCP, uninstalling/ reinstalling card, renaming SSID, removing all encryption, every combination of encryption available in the router...sigh I don't know what to do with it. Of course the wired connection works fine (wired FTW!) but seeing as its a laptop, wireless would be pretty nice to have working on it.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks guys!
