Witcher 3 Crashes to the desktop

How can I get older version of Witcher 3 before the next gen update? Its 1.32 version now is 4.02 version.
On steam, go to game properties > Betas.
There is a classic branch which says its 1.32. I havent used it but this should work. I have used other versions this way in another game ( nuclear throne ) and it works to get another build.

Even while playing Wolfenstein: The New Order its crashing and giving BSODS. What could be the problem?
Its restarting itself.

Then problem is likely external to game.
It could be anything - psu / gpu / ram / motherboard / cpu ..

Set power limit on gpu - say 70%, does that help ?
Maybe look at event viewer and see if you get a log when bsod happens.

Else try to eliminate things one by one.
Try to test one 1 ram stick at a time. Test ram without xmp.
Maybe if you have access to another pc you test each part one by one or someone on forum near you could help diagnose.

Once you can identify the faulty part, if its ram/gpu/cpu and is out of warranty - can try and test whether it works with lower clocks at same voltage.
Since you dont seem to get bsod immediately, maybe problem is only triggered after extended run with things heat up.
Sometimes it might have degraded and may only work with lower clocks.

Or test with updated drivers/firmware just in case.

The BSOD problem comes only when I load any level of any game. That means my GPU is the problem right.

Cant say for sure. You need to isolate one by one if possible by using spare parts if available. Can be psu too. Or even ram.
Or try some repair guy or someone ready to help you living nearby.

You can start by testing both ram alone ( if you have 2 ), that way atleast that can be ruled out. Also try with say 70% or 50% power limit for gpu just in case heat/power is stressing something.
Then if possible, try to test with different psu, and then different gpu. Basically you need to one by one rule out a component until you get confirmation of whats causing the issue.

Generally in my case problem has happened at boot time itself and i have had issues with dead power supply and dead gpu and dead cpu/motherboard.

While I played all 4 Wolfenstein games without a restart or a BSOD. Now while playing Witcher 3 again is giving me restarts & BSODS. I dont know why.
So am trying to save as much as possible in Witcher 3 nowadays.

Yesterday one computer technician came to troubleshoot my bugged PC and he inserted only 1 8GB stick of RAM and told me to play any game which supports 8GB. Then he will swap with another RAM stick and check which one is faulty. If both are good then motherboard might be the problem he said.

I was getting Event ID 41 Kernal Error and the PC was giving BSODs and restarting itself every 5 mins or so. While playing STALKER 2 it was giving the same errors and could finish compiling shaders at all.

What games are there which support 8GB of RAM?
Please tell so that I will install and play and check.

Google it man and see what you have.
Check power supply and gpu too before trying to replace motherboard.
Ideally he should check every component until either you find bad part or only last thing remains and if you replace that, it works.
