No Geralt but Ciri being the protagonist isn't half bad. I'd take her any day over anyone else besides Geralt. It'll be hard to be beat the witcher 3 though, the storytelling, environment, characters and the music. Anyways, really excited for Gwent 2 :)

Maybe best not to have sky high expectations and let it stand as its own game. Else it can spoil the mood a bit even if its a good game( GTA 4 for me..). W3 was an outlier.
That said, they seem to do stories/characters well looking at W2/3 and cyberpunk. So hopefully that continues.

I don't know if latest games already do this, but i would like to get 3d leaves now, no more 2d stuff which looks terrible at close range. Hopefully UE5 + nanite/etc can do it. And w3 next gen had lod issues, they should be gone too with UE5.
Biggest risk is stuttering.

You can't really gauge how a game that is at least 3 years away from release run on what will eventually be a 5 year old CPU.
