Withdrawing Money from PayPal - Please Help :huh:

Friends,

I will be withdrawing money from PayPal Unverified account for the First Time. I want to withdraw money to my HDFC Bank Saving's Account

With reference to screenshot above, when I try to withdraw money the Final Page shows Account Type: Checking

Is it OK? I am confused as what Checking means, as I have got a Savings Account :huh:

i have 9 $ and i want to transfer that money to my father's ac

how to do that ?
 
No Indian debit card as of now, with the exception of HDFC's NetSafe card, can be used to verify your PayPal account.

Instead ask someone with a verified account, to transfer the funds to your bank account.

You could use your dad's CC to verify your PayPal account and carry out the transfer of funds.

Sorry, CREDIT CARD. :)

Just log in to your account, click on 'Get verified' and keep your CC details ready.

Instructions are pretty straightforward from there.

I am not asking for How to Verify Account? :) Unverified accounts can withdraw $500 to Banks in India

I am asking what Checking is (Please see screenshot above)? and should I proceed?
 
^ Well, have you added that HDFC account through "Add a Bank account", under "Profile" ?

See if that process is successful, first.

Yes, It's completed successfully. I have added successfully Bank Name, Bank Account Number and IFSC Code for my Bank

But when I land at the final page of Withdraw Money, it shows Account Type as Checking

There is No Edit/Option for selecting the Account Type as Savings

And Only I need to know, whether I can proceed with Account Type: Checking or not?

$9 is a very small amount for all the hassle involved.Unless this is just your first $9 from some business I'd rather you spend it online.

Account Type : Checking , just refers to a "Checking Account".

Checking account - An account which allows the holder to write checks against deposited funds. Checking accounts which pay interest are sometimes referred to as negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts. The interest rate often depends on how large the balance in the account is, and most charge a monthly service fee if the account balance falls below a preset level.

Indeed. That's what I did. :P
 
Paypal displays it as a Checking account but there is nothing to worry. I withdraw atleast two times a month and never had a problem.

Even I had the same doubt, seems it's cool. Also one more doubt, when I click submit, on the summary page, my name on account is displayed as 'last name first name' whereas, in my bank account it's 'first name last name'. Will this create any issue? The name on my paypal account is also correct, only when I fill the withdrawal form, the first name and last name interchange positions. :@
