Wiz bulbs turning back on after a power cut

ok then for now I will hold back buying a UPS/Inverter..

I am running Home assistant and all my wiz bulb are integrated to HA and even Lan control is enabled but still this happens..
Are all your wiz bulbs & HA server on same wifi network with no "guest" wifi/firewall involved in router settings?

yes for all

Same Wifi Network (few devices I have assigned static IPs but not for Wiz bulbs)
No Guest network (had enabled one for some test last week for couple of hours)
No firewall configured.

any reason u asked this ?

Many routers do not allow devices on guest network to interact with usual wifi networks for security by default. In fact it is recommended to use all your smart devices on a guest network because it increases security of your home network by not allowing smart devices to interact with your home network. Reason for this is, smart devices usually have obsolete firmware updates & many security vulnerabilities because their manufacturers don't give much attention to this aspect(there have been many cases of smart devices being turned to botnet). All my smart bulbs & switches are on guest network after initial configuration done on guest network with "allow interaction with home network" option enabled & later disabled as usual.

Philips Wiz are a useless product. I got three some years back, 2 still exhibit similiar erratic behavior. They will also ghost come on/off, not aligned with the schedule set. Homesmart bulbs work better. I have 1, it never behaves out of specifications.

Got one Phillips today and having similar problems same with wipro.

Only Mi bulb works for me.
There is an option in smart bulbs called something like "last status remember" which is supposed to remember the status of the bulb (on or off) before power cut & once power is restored it remembers & apply that state. This option worked mostly well in wipro bulbs but no such option available in philips wiz bulbs but they do have a "last state" option available which still works most of the time but not via manually turning the physical switch on off assuming your bulb socket has inverter connection.

Yes I saw it on wipro and it works 50% of that time. Phillips Wiz app has power outage recover, does not work atm. I will try and tinker it later I guess.
Mi Led bulb works out of the box

Our society has a similar delay in switching over to DG and we never faced any issue.
We primarily use all Wiz lighting across the entire house, so I'm pretty sure it never happens.

Like @m0h1t mentioned, the default config is set to WizClick mode, to switch between 2 selected presets on each power switch toggle.
You need to select the option to "Last Status" instead, the downside of this is you lose the WizClick functionality.

We have dedicated WizMotes for each room/group, so WizClick wasn't that necessary.

Looks like this state remembering only works if the light is in night mode or bedtime is turned on
Like I mentioned in my previous post, these bulbs come with Wizclick enabled from factory and needs to be switched to last status mode.
I have been using a bunch of wiz products for the last couple of years and never faced this issue.

The only time this happened was when I bought a replacement bulb and forgot to disable wiz click mode.
Once disabled, never had them power on after a power failure/restore.
