.WMV / DMR video playing ????

I have a Video to be played but it's says it need extra Xvid codes for windows media player to play it :/

i auto downloaded the code but still that video is not been played

got feedup of this so thought to take help of Te members on this topic so what should i do ????

any thing i can do to play that video ????

I found this lin e in an txt with the video : If your video is not playing you must open it with Windows Media Player And Install Missing COdec.

not working :'(

plus when try to use the file in media classic player , it gives error : " Cannot render the file "

I'm pretty sure the file you have is encoded with DRM. This means that the file will only play in WMP and none of the others. IMO, if you have downloaded from the net, get another copy. As far as possible, avoid wmv files, as they could have this useless DRM.

What do you mean auto downloaded ? Did the file ask you to download some codec from some website... There are lot of video files which carry viruses and act as trojan horses like tht

Just reread your post, if it says XVID codecs, mostly is a virus/trojan mate. Now please do a complete scan of your pc at the very least.
