wmv to mp4 or avi converter without losing quality - plz suggest

HELLO TEs plz suggest a good software which can convert a wmv to an mp4 or avi file. Even if the file size doesnt become less i am least bothered but the quality should be preserved. This is because my media player isnt playing a particular wmv file. There should not be any quality loss and no big file size (should be atleast equal to the source wmv file)

i use Any DVD Converter for my Nexus one for small format, also play larger format on my 32inch via my patriot media player, no complaints so far.

avidemux and while selecting xvid codec click configure and increase the preset quality
