Ive been looking for a decent headphone stand since the time I got my Denon AH-D2000 and every time there was the slightest of scratch or mark on the cans while keeping them on the table , the need for one was unavoidable .
Sometime back I got the Sennheiser HH10 headphone stand from Metalspree but even though it was sturdy enough , I couldn't really fit it anywhere near the table/bed due to lack of proper mounting platform.
The recent headphone stand thread in the Audio Zone kind of pulled me towards a nice looking wooden headphone stands for my AH-D5000 which themselves have cups made out of Mahogany wood .So this time a wooden headphone stand was a must to make my setup perfect. The sad part was ,none of the decent looking wooden stands were priced less than 70-100$ and getting them shipped from abroad was another pain .
Recently I paid a visit Pristine Note store to try out some of the gear which had just arrived and I was totally overjoyed when I saw a corner full of beautiful wooden headphone stands. I asked Gautam about it and he told me that he he had been working on the design and finer details of a durable and value for money headphone stand to give to his patrons since last 4-5 months and this is the first model . I told Gautam , how badly I needed one and even though the boxes and packaging for these weren't ready yet , he was generous enough to provide me one
The headphone stand is made of Austrian Cherry wood with a nice and smooth polish . Just look at those textures and grain of wood
hyeah: . It also has a small Pristine Note brass-logo embossed on the base.
The headphone stand consists of two pcs. - The base and the stem and assembling it is only a 2 minute job using a screw driver.
The pics below should be self explanatory . Enjoy !
