One of my friend is in very big confusion related to Work Permit of Canada.
My friend has got admit for MS in Canada at University of Victoria. His Study permit states
Program of Study: Computer Science
Length of Studies: September 04, 2013 to September 2014 (Minimum) or September 2018 (maximum)
Level of Entry: Master of Science
Level of Study: Graduate
It is a full time course.
I believe that students pursuing one year course get one year work permit and students pursuing 2 year course get 3 years work permit(http://www.canadavisa.com/post-graduation-work-permit-program.html)
His course at University of Victoria also has option of Co-Op. If he takes some extra courses or takes Co-op due to which his degree gets extended to 2 years, will he be eligible for work permit given to students pursuing two year course? or his work permit will be according to one year course?
