After applying the 90 degree turn kit on my cooler I have good room for my all four slots.

I have one gskill ripjaws 2x2gb cl9 red and one gskill ripjaws X 2x4gb cl9 red.
before due to tight spacing I decided to only use 8gb ram rather then 12gb.
as 4gb was laying around now due to modification i have installed it.
my current rig is clocked at 3.5 ghz.
memory timing is 7-7-7-19 26-1T.
I find my system a bit slow very small different which a normal person wont notice but as I have been playing around now seen more then one year its easy to notice it.
So now what can I do to make them work them together for better performance.
In future I plan to overclock further but My thermal paste is over
due to my noob-ness 
so right now I wanted to know how to play around with ram timing ???
by the way above are default ram timing .
I have read many articals about it but seriously I did'nt got it at all.
So please try to make me understand it in your words rather then links and copy paste
