I couldn't find a dedicated thread for tablets so posting it in the laptop section. I guess it can't hurt to have a section devoted to tablets as they happen to have significant market share.
So my uncle really liked the Thrive I got for someone and has asked me to get one for him too. He would also like to use the internet on it on the go with a reliance 3g dongle. Now he isn't really tech savvy so I was wondering whether the dongle is plug and play on the thrive or do you need to install firmware to support it (also if there exists such a firmware)?
I'd also like to get suggestions for tablets (android preferred, upto $400) which support 3g via dongle or sim card with no or minimum configuration.
