While the members on TE write reviews once in a while and share their opinions on the items they own, we thought let’s put forth an incentive to make it even more exciting.

We will offer Flipkart gift coupons to the top 5 reviews and top 5 guides written within 30 days, till 10th June 2014 (and not to disappoint the members who have already posted one in last 15 days we will consider those too).
  • Reviews: Top review gets a gift coupon worth 800. Remaining 4 runner up get 500 each.
  • Guides: Top guide or tutorial gets a gift coupon worth 500. Remaining 4 runner up get 300 each.
Besides that you also earn upto 400 credit points for posting each review or guide which you can later use to purchase the upcoming TE goodies.

The top reviews will be decided by staff and member vote with 50% weightage each. The reviews and guides will get featured on the TE home page.

Rules:
  • Each review should be at least 800 words in length and contain at least 4 pictures
  • Each guide should be at least 500 words in length and contain at least 2 pictures
The above limit is only there to deter spam reviews and guides. If you honestly start writing then you will easily exceed that word and picture count. Just pick up a topic or item that you think will be most useful to the community.

Depending on the quality of entries we are looking to make this a frequent event. So type away!

btw does TE has any rules/terms regarding the content?

- am I allowed to post that same review/guide in other forums
- am I allowed to remove the content whenever I want?
- who has the copyright of the content? author or TE?

As far as the contests are concerned, you can post the same review/guide in another forum but it has to be after two weeks.
 
Hardly any guides posted. If any one wants a guide on something you wanted and didn't find on web yet, please ask here.
 
Review any gadgets you own. It may seem insignificant to you but might be helpful for many others. Or maybe a guide on how to do something.[DOUBLEPOST=1400399685][/DOUBLEPOST]If someone is interesting in writing a guide but is not sure what to write about then they can PM me for ideas. Just let me know which forum area are you interested in and I will suggest a topic or two.
