I Brought A Lite On Dvd Writer Which Is Giving Problems.
My Buffer Level In Nero Not Constant At 100% Or Not Even In 90% Ranges Wht Should I Do Plz Help Me

wht meida are you using ? and try closing other applications like antivirus etc. is dma mode on ? check this for it

i am using a nero 7 premium version
writing a DVD and a CD takes 30 mins !!!!!

ok lol see dude you must have clicked on verfify after writing option!

plxz check!

uncheck the option verfity and every thing is normall BOOm to 12-15 min :hehe

Make sure DMA is enabled on the Secondary IDE channel.

This was the problem i had:

Make sure its a 80 wire IDE and not 40 wire IDE cable.

Agreed with Ankit...Check ur cables....seriosly it matters..

My 40 pin cable used to get hot like hell..!! plus it used to take exactly 1hr for a DVD to get burned....ITs all solved with latest drivers and 80 pin cable..

Also defragment the partition which is used for buffer by Nero... Primarily C:\... Speeds would improve....
