Guys, I want urgently a 17 inch CRT Monitor.
My 15 inch monitor is beyond repairable.
My budget isnt that much to go for a LCD.
So a second hand CRT monitor "flat wud be best", and most importantly i live near kharagpur so the monitor have to be within calcutta or maximum.. TATA.
 
Ok guys Finally I got my monitor.
after long search...all the monitors i was getting are either non-flat or 3-4 years old.
Got googles Monitor its only 1 year old 17 inch FULL FLAT CRT.
LG E700SH.
AMAZING CONDITION.
NOT A SCRATCH IN SCREEN LOOKS BRAND NEW.

got that for a brilliant price of 3k total. :) for a 1 year old monitor.
have to admit the display and color of LG FLAT ones r just amazing.
even i find it better than samsung.

btw google how do i wipe the screen from time to time to keep dust away cuz i dont want scratch in screen and dust comes after a month or so?
the way u kept the screen is just amazing not a single scratch and stuff.
repped ya.
now i can happily take this around me in the battlefield against the yanks.
i mean red army ;).
 
and umm how do i test a CRT monitor? cuz just now i noticed slight greenish tinge on left down of the screen very very faint maybe cuz i have a green walpaper?
 
yes confirmed :( after putting a full white wallpaper very very faint greenish glow on down left and reddish on down right is visible what can be the cause?

its not noticable only noticable if u see it very very closely a greenish leak typf of.
 
degaussed it.
its still there.

I used Roadkil's Monitor Test to test it.
every tests r fine but when screen is full white.
thers faint greenish leak from down left and reddish from down right.

i have moved speakers 3 feets away though i have my "CD player" beside monitor not the speakers.
shud i move it as well??
 
Yes did it still same issue.
I'll try moving the deck tomorrow its noticable while i'm browsing TE as lower parts of TE r white.

I just noticed a serious issue dont know its my wiring in home or whatever..
moved everything speaker related stuffs :(
will get back and lets c what happens.

I see very very faint blackish lines moving "not flickering" in some places when the screen is purely white specially when u watch a video after sometime for a second some lines r moving upo and down.
lets see.
 
I think there's some sort of magnetic flux around the monitor try shifting the monitor to some different place then degausing the same or keeping the
monitor off overnight and starting it the following morning and be sure to shift it at some other place.

If these doent solves call some tech guy coz this problem will turn out to be
major one !!!!!!!!
 
I've caled a Lg tech guy.
He'll arrive tomorrow and check the thing.
lets hops for best.

the black moving linex are extremely rare only visible if u stick ur eyes literally to the monitor when the screen is full white.
its like a wave moving up and down flickering type of blackish stuff.
