Decent quality 5.1 speaker set, in good display and working conditions, from preferably mumbai based buyers, for around 2-2.5k, warranty atleast 1 yr remaining... Searching for Creative Inspire, but any other will also do....

Rates are negotiable.
 
Want to buy my Intex 5.1 speakers? they are great and frequency response 20hz-20khz. almost a year old so sorry no warranty but maintained well. u can come at my place and check it
 
i am not much and audiophile... but nevertheless wanted to try out the surround sound effect.... and a few enhanced voice in games and movies... hence, i was thinking for creative 5.1 as i do not know much about other brands.......

How are the intex speakers.... can monalac give me the model numbers so that i can search for reviews for it and also have other members comment on it....
 
Go for the Altec lansing 5.1s. Creative Inspire series is terrible at making anything except hip-hop sound good. And concerning movies... the cheaper 5.1s give pretty much the same effect.

Intex, i, Frontech, Mercury etc are unreliable brands - trust me... I've had two mercury speakers go up in flames for no reason at all(real sparks and lots of smoke :D).
Speakers/Monitor/Input devices should always be bought from a solid and reliable brand. The premium you pay will be worth it.

Artis is supposed to be a good company too, though I've not personally been exposed to any of their speakers.

Altec Lansing 251, I have them and they are good for anythnig casual.
or Altec Lansing VS3151 which is a higher model.
 
I have a Creative 4.1(FPS1600) for 3 yrs. They sound decent for there price, n absolutely no problems with them, till now whtsoever.

I have Altec Lansing 251 and it rocks in movies. Haven't played any games after I got it except for cricket 2005 so can't comment there. Mp3s also sound good after I reduce the woofer volume. The sunwoofer is at full volume for movies.
