hi TE ;

I'm looking forward to buy 80x80x15 CASE FAN. in market only 80x80x25 mm fan only available.

but im looking for 80x80x15 mm fan..

if any one has it, please pm me. thanks in advance.

:ohyeah:

You need it for the right hand side panel of the CM690?

If so, then believe me its not a good idea.

I have a decently powerful 80mmx15mm fan and when I put it there it made quite a lot of noise, probably cuz of air suction. Quite annoying

lynxx has it of a company called Top Fan a Taiwan based company,

I have installed one in my 590 i use it as inlet.

Also cooler master webiste shows it but tried out at many dealers but couldnt find it so got it from Lynxx

Oh, i was looking for a 80x80 x 15/10 for my CM690 too! But could u reduce the noise by using a fan controller? and did it help in the temps?

By reducing the power of the fan it will not really help. Any side panel fan will have that turbine sound due to it being tightly screwed on. Suggest you use rubber mounts for it and should be much better.....sorry for the OT.

Yes you could use a fan controller, if has its 3wire pwm fan.

I did the 7v mod with the fan, still it made lot of noise, didn't notice the temps after the mod.

I would recommend getting a high cfm low noise fan like the Scythe Slip Stream - 110CFM, 37dbA Scythe "SLIP STREAM" 120mm Case Fan

Actually the fan is not fixed on the RHS panel but on the mobo tray.

though I didn't use screws cuz of the stupid slot I used cable ties, it was quite stable and no vibrations..

The noise it made was of air sucking and not grinding..
