Hi guys,
I currently own a XFX Ti4200 8x 128MB VIVO AGP card. It manages to handle most of the games but since I am official beta tester for PCSX2 (a ps2 emulator) I have been informed by authors of video plugins that from now on atleast pixel shader 2.0 support is required in the video cards to take the full advantage of emulation So I need a card with ps 2.0 support.
Now I would like to buy a second hand card (would have bought a 6600gt if I had enough funds right now). I can buy any card for less than 3000 Rs. including shipping to Gwalior (m.p). I wont prefer a 5200fx (though it supports ps 2.0).

Here is my rough estimate (all agp8x versions, may be more or less, correct me If I am wrong):
1) 5200fx 128/256 mb= about 1000/1200 /-
2) 5700(normal or le)= about 1500 /-
3) 5700 ultra/6200 64 bit= about 1800 /-
4) 6200 256 mb 128 bit= about 2200 /-
5) 6600 128mb Normal= about 3000 /-
6) 9800/9700 pro= about 2700/2800 /-

The card should be in perfect working condition also if anyone wants to buy/exchange my ti4200 please quote your price.
Thanks.

Err why are you offering more for a slower card (6600) and less for a faster card (9800 pro) Anyways it would be tough finding a 9800pro for even 3k.

Arjun, I have 1 eVGA 6600 128MB and 1 ASUS 6600 256MB card for sale - the eVGA was used for 2 days. I'm ready to part with it for 3.5k including shipping.

Here's the thread for a pic and details on the card - http://www.techenclave.com/forums/sale-two-nvidia-6600-pcie-graphics-64732.html

Sorry but I am looking for an AGP card as I dont have pcie slot.

how much would u give for a 9600 pro

Depends on the model and company and how old is it ?

From what I know about that card its performance is similar to normal 5700 so I can offer around 1500.

1500rs is wayy too low for the 9600 pro...i've a Club 3D ATI Radeon 9600 .. runs like a dream... was able to HL2 on my old system with 4x agp. in med settings easily at 1024 res. The performance and image quality is just too good.

See the link I posted above. A 9600pro is worse than a 9500pro and it even runs some games slower than my ti4200. Another problem is that its pixel shader support was greatly reduced (which is the main reason for my upgrade) and ps 2.0 work really slowly on a 9600pro.

Anyone knows how much a new 6200 128 bit AGP card would cost (Cheapest brand) ? It comes in 128mb and 256mb . About 1 and 1/2 months back 128mb version from leadtek was priced at 4000 Rs.

After reading all the reviews I have come to the conclusion that these are the best bet. Its performance is slightly less than a 6600 normal version and much better than other cards in the same price range.

If I cant find a second hand one then I will have to get a new one.
