A good friend needs a AGP 8X card. Looking for a decent performing card that would run one-gen-old games at 1024x768 low/medium settings.

Budget is 2k. May stretch if the GPU is worth the extra money. Card should be shipped to B'lore. Would need atleast testing warranty.

Edit:
Also, preferably, would need a DVI-port on the card.

My friend has a Sapphire 1600 256MB DDR2- Idle since sometime now.

Stock cooler has been replaced with a CM (coolviva iirc) passive cooler.

Bought in late 2008- so remainder of 2/3 yrs local warranty left.
