Camera WTB: Basic/Entry level digital camera for 6k

I urgently need an entry level digital camera. Max budget is 6k. I'm not keen on bill/warranty for this and wud be at ease buying frm the grey market at lower prices. Kindly recommend a couple of models which u ppl thnk will suffice. Thnx

c the cheapest canon powershot 570IS u can get? u migt have to extend ur budget a bit, but its worth it check ur nearest grey market?

I'll surely check the 570IS.....looks cool, any other suggestions frm the SONY stable? Or sud i stick to CANON as i'm low on budget?

how abt a kodak c813 8.3mpix cam,3x n 4x optical n dig zoom respectively....
comes with a 1 yr kodak international warranty....interested pm me....asap..offer limited,,cheers....
