1. either e6300/ 6400 both new or used ll do.. but must hv indian warranty
2. budget mobo... features important rather than overclockin capablities both new n used bith wid warranty

Based on your 15k budget, I'd recommend an E6300 (8.5k) + Intel DG965RY or DG965WH (6.5k).

well this ll b my 1st intel after PIII 733.... but i kinda hoping fr P5B vanilla.. intel boards dont offer that much AFAIK
