Hey chaps,

Am labouring on with a 2.5 yr old R52 ThinkPad which I absolutely cannot bear to part with, so looking for a replacement for the UltraBay DVD/CD-RW Combo drive that came with it. Mine's completely conked - doesn't even read CDs/DVDs, leave alone writing..

If anyone is selling off a Thinkpad (or have one gathering dust someplace) I would be quite happy to buy just the Ultrabay drive.

A used external combo drive (simple dude here, not really looking to write DVDs..) is also okay, but really just looking to replace my aging lappie parts..
 
is it the slim version where u insert the CD/DVD or the normal tray which comes out

i have a DVD/CD-RW Combo with me
