WTB: DVD writer/burner (IDE only, no SATA)

Hey guys, need one IDE DVD burner for my old backup PC. The LG CD-ROM drive finally died out after serving for 8+ years and was put to rest in a garbage bag last night.

Should not be DOA and should be able to write and read CDs and DVDs with ease. Speed doesn't matter since I'll rarely use the drive and in any case, I write at 4X/8X only.

Preference for these brands: Sammy, LG, Sony etc.

Local sellers in Bombay highly preferred!

My friend has a BENQ 1650- used sparingly- mostly as a ROM.

Could read and install some days back from my FDFSFB Orange box discs- something which most of my older ide/SATA drives failed to do.

If OK, PM me an offer and i will make him go SATA.
