WTB: DVI to Dsub Converter

Hi Guys

Does ne one know where can i get it and for how much.

I wud wanna try out dual monitor setup as i have my 15 inch monitor lying around will try to use it.

i assume you have dual dvi - where atleast one is DVI-I otherwise it will not convert to D-Sub, The connector is available at connectronics at lamington road.

Any idea of the cost.

I have one Dsub conn on my GPU and one DVI.

I have one 17 inch DSub and 15 inch Dsub Pin Monitor

the dvi connector you have should be a DVI - I or DVI -A - that is analog as well as digital. Visually you can identify it by seeing by four pins - Two below and Two above a long pin which look like a short line at the end of the connector. If it does not have those four pins then a d-sub convertor will not work.

the Cost should be around 150rs. will check on monday, since i will be around there.

i was a little surprised. the cost he quoted me was 364 rs.

I assume that is an odd figure because of the tax.

In case you want to borrow mine to try out, you are most welcome to.
