41-50k WTB General Purpose Laptop under 50k

  • What's your Budget? 50k
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? Office Use/Movies/Casual Gaming (WoW, F1-2015, Hearthstone, etc)
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? None really
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? Looking into Dell and Asus right now
  • Any other considerations? I would love a 1080p display, but at this price point it seems unlikely
Also i have a few doubts, why is it that phones and tablets at 15-20k manage to get 1080p displays and laptops can't do this? What's the point of a i5 8GB RAM laptop with a dedicated GPU without a FHD display?
Also, what's the performance difference between i5 5200u and i5 6200u? And why are manufacturers bundling DDR3 RAMS on 6th gen laptops?
 
i5-6200U is little faster than 5200U in processing power but it improves quite good in graphic power.

6th gen mobile CPUs support both DDR4 and DDR3 RAMs. It looks, OEM would be keeping DDR4 for more premium segment as a marketing tool and there might be some cost cutting involved.
 
Both have same processor with Lenovo having 1080p screen. Do note that, dunn keep your expectations high in term of GFX capabilities of both systems. They have 920/930 DDR3 from nVidia.
