WTB:Good Quality Blank DVDs

Hey guys i was wonderin here we cud all teamup whoever from mumbai or so n buy some good blank dvds from abroad,if any1 ships it
good quality like Mitsubishi or Taiyo Yuden or Sony

Anybody has any experience or so in these do fill in...

50 dvds shud cost $20 MAX for the best TY

any1 has any experience on how 2 get these in bullk from usa or knows an importer.......lets get things started guys

I had 50 disks, out of which 25 were stolen by my friends
and 25 i have are used to backup old family videos and backup surgical videos of my father. Looking for TY here for long time without any luck.
All i found was fake ones.

TY is good,wut im suugesting is interested ppl pitch in n pay n we buy it from abroad,import a HUGE #,if we buy a big qty price will b lower n shippin shud equal the price cut so it will be very reasonable.

1 - Pay in advance

2 - Pay slightly ~10% higher than market price

3 - Wait for USPS Priority airmail to arrive

for Taiyo Yuden blanks ? If theres a good number of us, but not TOO many, then *MAYBE* i can try set something up.

EDIT : Its coming out to be more..something like Rs.40 per 16x TY blank coz of double shipping (site to cousin to india) and packing and stuff..

this may not be the right place for it, but i need to ask a noob question. why is the brand so important? i see some of you people talking about burn scans and things like that which i don't understand. i've always used whatever dvds i could find in the market and i haven't had problems so far. so why do you guys insist on certain brands and what do you use them for?

Certain brands last much longer than generic ones.. losing 4.3GB of data in one go is an unaffordable HUGE loss.. hence the discussion

Forget the 16X ones, the 8X -Rs should be fine. I wouldn't mind paying 30-35 each for the TYG02 discs. 50 pieces for me..

but i can buy smwht like 300 or more pieces .. other frnds of mine are also planning to buy the coasters..

well i do need more ty discs. i just got 10 of them remaining. should be over fast.

will need atleast 100. & i want 8x. dont want to waste money on 16x. & dvd+r.

& if you are sending from usps i suggest dont get it then. cause they take like a month or month n half to reach you.

TY is ALWAYS made in Japan

I think the prices out here are very good.I checked out yesterday,this is what i found:-
Sony D11 dvd+r =Rs25
Moser Bear dvd+r = rs 22
Euro vision dvd+r =rs 20
Samsung Dvd+r =Rs 23
FujiFilm dvd-r =RS10
Abt the fujifilm at that price i think it very good,i mean i tested it with nero.
I got Avg PIE=9
Avg PIF=4.
Jitter = 9%
