WTB: Headpohones within 4k. Help please!

Hi guys

Iam looking for a headphone thats light and comfortable...Ofcourse looking for good sound quality and good bass...

My max budget is 4k.

Right now Iam thinking of Sony XD300.

I know this has been asked before, but I need the most unanimous suggestion once more. Even mere product mention will do.

Itdepot stocks sennheisers these days. The low end ones are expensive but the HD-555 was priced pretty nicely iirc.
 
Sony XD 400 > Sennheiser HD 555 > Sony XD 300

is this right order and which among these fit my budget.

Right now I have a frnd coming frm Sharjah..no1 frm US or canada.
 
The HD555 beats all sony low end crap. The only thing sony i'd consider in headphones is the SA5000. Everything else under that is mediocre. HD555 is around 100$ abroad. You can look at the Alessandro MS-1 as well. Very good headphone.
 
HD555 costs 95$ at Amazon...

Is it available for a better price anywhere else...?

Is this really better than HD202 or sony XD 300 keeping in mind I wont be using any amplifier....else Id rather go for those.

I have the Audigy2zs.

well yeah thats the best price ive seen for those and i think you can try and get international shipping at Amazon
 
Is HD555 comfortable...
Can they be worn 3-4 hrs at a stretch...?
My ears are sensitive I guess and its bit front on...not much but still its not completely side-on :ashamed:
