Hi all,
Been a long time guys. I am at present in UK pursuing my MS in Engineering Design :hap2:. Thats what i wanted to do since long.
so now comes the big question. I was stupid enough to bring my ages old acer (which i dont blame for anything as it served me well for nearly 4 years :ashamed
Now i need a laptop and as i have to buy from UK I wanna buy one as per the following specifications:
What's your Budget? 400 pounds landed cost give or take a few pounds
What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? surfing, MS office and HD movies for leisure (if i get any :rofl: )
What size and weight considerations do you have? 15 incher
Any brand that you prefer? in order of preference 1) Dell 2) Dell 3) Dell
Any other considerations?
I dont mind a second hand unit if it comes with NBD warranty. Suggest a few good places to buy the laptop (either online or in London, Bath, Bristol)
