Hey guys,
Im looking for either a all out buy, or a trade with my existing 2*256MB Sticks in my Laptop.
I have 512MB Extra outside, but since there are only 2 slots, cant really go much.
So ill have to sell my 2*256's and get 1*512 stick, so i can get 1GB Ram in total.
DDR-3 Preffered.

If nobody has em, can any1 mention a shop where i can get it? In Mumbai.. and for what price?
 
chennai prices for transcend are ~2.7K for 512 DDR333

I'd say keep 1 stick, allocate 128MB to the radeon 200m, and stick another 512 leaving u with 640MB for the system memory
 
Rather 512*2 and just allocate 128mb outta the 1 stick na?

AFAIK, Dual Channel is not supported in my Lappie..
 
yes, no dual channel on ur lappy....and why i said just 512 is coz anythng over (512+256-128=) 640MB will be overkill for ur lappy, so u might as well save some cash by buying just 1 stick!

after all u don't want ur dad to force u to go atten college :P
