Want to buy a single-core processor based lappy. :P
Prefer Core solo, Pentium M based lappies with Centrino.
RAM is not much of an issue as it can be upgraded if need be- anything above 512MB is fine.

256MB ones will do too if the overall platform and condition is good.

DDR2 RAM based lappy will be given preference for obvious reasons. :)
HDD capacity no issues- maybe replaced if need be.
Has to have some amount of battery backup.

Totally dead battery ones not preferred unless seller provides personal money-back guarantee that the lappy is issueless wrt to performance and charging and a new battery will provide as good as new performance
DVD or CD drive not a big issue- should work, that's it.
Screen-size immaterial but condition should be good.
Overall condition should be good enough- with no bad/dying keys or flaky touchpad or any other gripes.
Will need general testing warranty for a week or so- product won't be messed with on the name of testing.
Thank you for looking. :)
Please PM me with any offers and try and keep this thread clean. :)

I have three Dell Laptops. XPS 1710, One Dell Inspiron and the other I have to check. The XPS comes with a 17 inch monitor, Dedicated GPU and Solo proccy. I have not decided how much to sell it for. I would like to see, how much you are willing to pay for it. The XPS laptop is more than 3 years old but still rock solid when it comes to performance.

Hmm.. I'm not actively looking around for a buyer but since you're a local guy (and someone who has helped me a lot :)) feel free to make an offer if you're interested:

Thinkpad T42: P-M 1.8Ghz, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9000, 14" XGA, 60GB HDD, fingerprint reader, two 6-cell batteries, touchpad+trackpoint. It's being used a download rig these days.

I have an Acer 14.1 inch lappy with AMD Turion Single core (64 bit :D) , 128MB Ati graphics and bells and whistles lying unused at my home. will call back home and post the exact configuration.

Hi.

I have a HP DV5000 15.5" lappy with AMD Turion Single core 1GB RAM (64 bit @1.8Ghz) , 128MB Ati graphics M200 and 80GB HDD and laptop is used sparingly. with DL DVD-RW and 2 x USB ports. Windows Vista Ultimate installed.

Let me know if you want this. PM me ur offers.

Condition is 9/10.

Wow- overwhelming response- Thank you everyone. :D

Let me study each of these. :ashamed:

Also have some offers from some non-TE guys. :)

Will surely get back to each one- i need only one though unless some other friend decides to get one too. :P
And please PM me any price you like- i have no idea of lappies and will take your quote to be a fair one (as in the case of you buying one) and consider accordingly. :)
@gforce sir- i sincerely have no recollection of ever having helped you. :)

And in general, if on TE and not helping anyone, then why the heck am i still here. :P

Getting a Celery-based Compaq and/or a Banias/Dothan-based IBM soon. :)

Please do PM me if you see this and have something cheap and good.

For personal work- not for sale/trade- will sell at lower price in some months or giveaway to some needy person. :)

Closing this thread. :)
