Well it seems as if the Display IC of my Intel D845GVSR motherboard is dead and so either the IC needs to be changed or need to get a replacement board. Checking out options bout gettin a replacement board preferably having a bit of warranty left as my board is out of warranty, so guys please check if you have a socket 478 M/B lying around which u want to get rid of and let me know your price. Mumbai sellers preferred...
Any suggestions bout gettin my old motherboard repaired are also welcome.

I have one intel gvsr mobo as spare. Selling price Rs.1500/- + courier from Kolkata.

Can take old one at Rs.200.
 
My brother-in-law has a Intel 915 Mobo (with P4 2.66 CPU).

This evening, I am replacing his Mobo, CPU and RAM. Will post tomorrow the details of the Mobo. Where in Mumbai are you located?

TECH HUNTER is right. It is a socket 775 Mobo. Sorry.
