A friend who is an hardware vendor needs 10-15 sets of the CPU+Motherboard to complete the order of a software company.He said it is out of stock in India and is also willing to go to China to get the stuff.
Anyone knows where he might get hold of these?

First thing, he can directly talk with ppl @ tyan. I think their sales ppl will at least lead him to a distributor.

As a last resort, if you are your friend knows anyone in US, these can be easily be got. But I think he will get better prices from east asia.

I was looking for the same combo around 6months back. the Tyan reseller in Bangalore never returned with any info after calling them up for more than 6-8times.
 
Yea the only reseller in India is in Bangalore and he said he can only arrange for 5 sets and that too in the next month.
