WTB USB Wifi Adapter with 20-30 feet range

I am looking to buy an USB wifi adapter with a range of atleast 20-30 feet. I have a Belkin N150 router transmitting data from one room and would want an usb wifi receiver in my HTPC in the living room to access the network with out any drops or "major" loss in data transfer speeds.
What are the best possible options for me?

I've shifted to a wireless setup and have been using these two for a while now - TP-Link and Netgear. The Netgear is newer, but (coincidentally) they are both running one old Atheros chipset that has been giving me migraines every now and then on Windows 8. On Windows 7 they are both stable (One PC is win8 and one is win7 so I've tested both). When they do work I get 6-7mbps wirelessly from one pc to the another and they are both very smooth using tightVNC. I haven't tried streaming though.

Also 20 - 30 feet is pretty far away. I think you'd need an adapter with an antenna like the one I have or this.
