actually the budget can be stretched is the card is worth it. for example a gainward 7800gs agp would be a real good buy even if the price was to be more.
The thing is, i'm not ready to upgrade to PCI-e yet. Most of my needs are met with this old AGP system.
The second pci graphics card is for an even older config, that'll do just fine as a linux based pvr solution.
