Yes 2 yrs ago but some isps still permit all those sites. Mantar was to make it rape-free but the situation worsened making india a free-rape country.

I never encountered any child pornography anywhere in my lifetime and all websites dont permit or provoke child pornography, so dont know from do such people get the shit!
Many local whatsapp groups circulating such things were scanned and banned owing to people abusing local kids for there benefits. But it was just a one time activity and I'm 900% sure still such groups exists on telegram, whatsapp and whatever social media hiding under some generic group names.
It may be like govt. is now ok with it or have given up on pornography as in vidhan sabha/parliament few such videos went viral where the ministers themselves were caught watching porn.
But child abuse should be strictly curbed.

Agreed... Our lawmakers must be having too much spare time to dig into those sites to actually find child porn.
Since the ban, social apps like WhatsApp, telegram has become a big source for this. I wonder how much will you ban, people do find jugaad one way or another.

The child thing is banned everywhere ( and very rightly so) in fact it's difficult to even write the word as a father.
In fact on a personal level I'm anti-porn, but that's because of the fact that I am well aware of the real dark side of it...( not the documentary but real people lost in it) but banning normal porn is a stupid stupid decision.
In fact on of my neighbor was in adult movie industry, but she's a very intelligent lady who got out of it after making a lot of money and invested wisely. She will never have to work normal jobs again.
But she's an exception, most women pick up wrong habits, wrong people in that crazy industry and get lost in the madness.
