I want to to know the cost and availiability of Creative X-FI in India.
with the front panel decoder and without it.
is it worth going for a x-fi?
 
i have a old 2.1 phillips speakers the speakers r nothing but 8 inch woofers lol
they perform real good my dad has old sonodyne sets ..
i need a new speaker sets so sound card and save some busk the speaker next month :)
 
i think if u don't have 5.1 setup than spending that much on X-Fi worth it ..... some people may have different opinion about this ...... i wud say audizy 2 willl perform fine and i think prices will also go down ...
 
hmm btw how much they cost? and i am going to buy a 5.1 too :) so yea xfi cost heard around 5.5k? and cost of audigy?
i dont need the front decoders if cost is too high lol.
 
Are you interested in gaming or music ? what speaker model do you have exactly ? if you are using some generic speakers..its gonna be a worthless upgrade, and you are just throwing your money. What speakers are you planning to get ?

It is cause I got a price for the extreme music of 7.5K....could get 4 7K...but wait it'll fall...and the ZS ain't available now...maybe cyberstar has it...they r also into creative now...no more MSI.

oh, the x-fi rapes the audigy 2 in openAL performance, especially in Quake 4 so that's another reason to get one. sadly, q4's sound is horrible without openAL enabled.

Not so horrible....I have this game..yeah but the open AL on the xfi would be better i guess

The correct word would be outperforms here....or thrashes....:bleh: that word belongs in the counterstrike camp pot!!!(remember) :P
 
oops sorry :tongue: thank god it wasnt "scandal" j/k:bleh: VANDAL :d and we iit bufalloes have the highest milk rate :rofl:
