Graphic Cards X1600XT for 6.3K Good deal?

Friends is this card good for playing games at medium settings? How does it compare to a 7600Gs?

u can also check vga charts for more clarity. As per the charts 7600gs is slightly faster than 1600xt. Though with ati u have better image quality and that price is unbeatable.

By reading some reviews I can see that it gets beaten by the puny 6600gt sometimes and beats the mighty 6800gt in some cases (eg:Fear).
Strange card isnt it?

One reply IQ = BS, there's no difference. X1600XT will be slightly faster, but the 7600GT is much faster than both of these. lots of the GS versions are also factory OC'ed too, check for this as it scales well...

^^Unless you are blind, there's a huge diff between high quality AF and normal AF. Angle independence is a good thing... and thats how AF should be done.
