Hey guys, as much as I am interested many of you are and so this is the link to first X1900XT review I came across :)
The PowerColor Radeon X1900 XT
Among the earliest vendors to send us their sample unit was PowerColor. Coincidentally, they were also the first to send us a retail Radeon X1800 XT and now again, they managed to secure the hardware quick enough to ready their Radeon X1900 XT graphics card for retail. If this is any cue, the usual practice of a long dry spell before one can lay their hands on the latest ATI graphics card looks to be a thing of the past with the Radeon X1900 series. While we have not seen a single one of them in retail yet (obviously, since the launch is today), the early evaluation unit sent to us from a vendor rather than ATI's usual reference seeding unit certainly gives us much hope that we will see retail outlets stock up soon after the launch date.

Go feast your eyes on card as wellas numbers!

Nice.... But they have not benchied HL 2, Doom 3,

And what abt the image Quality.... Nvidia usually lags behind in that category. They have not compared the IQ of each.

And to be honest, it does not make a damn difference. Whether you get 78 or 75 FPS at 1600 x 1200 4x FSAA /8X AF.....

I would be very content with an X1800XL.... :P

And this is the test bed
Processor AMD Athlon 64 3500+

Mainboard ASUS A8N-SLI (nForce4 SLI)

Memory 2 x 512MB Corsair DDR400

Harddisk Seagate 7200.7 SATA 80GB

Operating System Windows XP Professional w/SP1

Wont this be a bottleneck for such GPUs?? They should have at least tested with an X2 or at least an oc'ed SD. And oc'ed RAM.

I wonder how many people buying this card will run their systems at stock.

Well i wuld like to see Kyle's[H] take on the card as they review the way i want it to... Hope X1900XT goes for the win... We will find out tomorrow in anycase :)...

But wasnt everyone here(Aces, Chaos) cribbing abt [H] losing their way and being very biased in their reviews etc....

Or were they talking abt some other wesbite......

And why would you want the X1900XT to win :bleh: ?

I would wait for the NDA lifted and get to know the whole picture besides just 3dmark crap.
And yeah [H] sucks now, waiting for Techreport and Beyond3d reviews.

Hexus has a review but site is down due to way too much traffic. Too much anticipation of the r580 i guess.

Hexux, b3, xbitlabs,tr reviews would be worth watching out for.

You cant find out if the x1900 has won. Until like, March..When the 7900GTX will come :ohyeah:

Thanks for the links guys.

checking now.

EDIT : Ahem.. The 7800GTX 512 owns the x1900xtx in Quake 4.

The x1900xtx squeaks ahead in HL2 by 3 frames. Its neck and neck at the highest possible settings.

FEAR.. Max of the x1900xtx is very high compared to the 7800GTX 512. But the Lows are almost the same.

BF2.. The x1900xtx is like 5 Frames ahead of the 7800GTX 512.

GuildWars.. The 7800GTX 512 is clearly ahead of the x1900xtx by like 10+ Frames.

Looks like the 7900GTX is gonna own the x1900xtx badly!

Bad luck ATi.

Better luck next time.

Well X1900XT and XTX are already available at many places for less than MRP since the last 2-3 days. The GTX 512MB is vaporware. I think they made less than a 1000 cards overall. If it dies, tough luck getting one. So no point comparing both. Effectively the fastest NV card you can buy today is the GTX 256MB which is badly owned by the x1800xt let alone being compared with the x1900 cards. When G71 is gonna come out, nobody knows. Your guess is as good as mine. In image quality, its a no contest. ATI wins.
