X-Box 360 controller & windows7 problem
Guys few days back i was hit by a virus. After removing it widows 7 started to act strangely. But somehow i made it like it as before.
But it seems it has started again. X-BOX 360 controller was working fine but suddenly some games have started to dislike it. Brothers was the first example. http://www.techenclave.com/community/threads/brothers-a-tale-of-two-sons-discussion-thread.147627/
Now same problem I am facing in Batman arkham city too. It was working fine two days back. Even injustice is behaving strangely too.:(

It works well in windows XP.
I have checked for viruses and could not find any. If you guys have any solution then please do share it.

What do you mean by some games are disliking it? I had an issue on Windows 8 with my XBox 360 controller vibrating out of control during Batman Arkham Origins.

The game crashed and the controller kept vibrating after the game closed down. Wondering if your issue is similar.

^^ I mean all the games were working perfectly with it. But after the virus attack i installed brothers a tale of two sons and the rest you know. Batman was working fine too. However few days back it started to show the same problem. Injustice in the menu behaves strangely even with the slightest touch of the Left analog stick. It detects the controller as an arcade stick. But somehow if i manage to reach in game it acts normally again.
Now only splinter cell and few other games are behaving properly.

It seems nobody has faced this problem here or no-one knows the answer.
Anyways i have found a temporary solution. It seems the virus has really fckd up the windows system.
Temp sol : Don't connect the controller to your system before starting the game.
Start the game and then connect it. It should work now! Btw if you try to use the keyboard & mouse in between then for some reasons the response will be very slow. For that you have to disconnect the controller.

^^Yeah buddy tried almost everything.:( Mine is 32 bit btw. I think the virus might have altered or corrupted some window files. Do you know any solution to repair it other than reinstall the windows again.

Try running an sfc scan. Open command prompt with admin priviledges and type "sfc /scannow". That should check all system files and repair them if necessary. You might also try installing Driver Sweeper to completely remove gamepad drivers and then installing them again.
