Galvanizer
I'm finally at a stage where I can give my verdict(not the ultimatum, and not something I force others to accept, just my opinions) on the 3 consoles and their superior, PC.
X360
Played Halo 3 and Gears of War 2, initially FPS games were making me sick. After an hour, I thought I would get accustomed. Next day, played again only to get an effing headache. How DO PEOPLE PLAY FPS on CONSOLE? Honestly, FPS is a joke on consoles compared to PC.... My take, please dont start a war on these words of mine.
The best part was the vibration of the controller, especially when you know how to use it to its full potential
Gears of War 2 was Co-Op 2 Player Campaign, but I think L4D2 on PC Co-Op was much more fun for me.
PS3
Hmm, the controller layout is a bit different, but you know what? PS3 didn't give me a headache, but the controller did make my little finger feel numb. The graphics felt same for Fifa 11 on both, but the X360 controller was a bit more comfortable.
GTA IV was stuttery and looked like the PC version, only the PC version is cheaper to buy, thats the difference.
The controller was Dual Shock 3 sixaxis FYI.
Didnt play PS Move as slots were full, but it looked interesting. However, the users gave a better feedback about Wii Sports to me.
Wii
Ahh, I left the best of consoles for the last. What a treat it was, that girl beside me doing her stings, playing blissful shots, .... of Tennis. How I wish i was the contro..... ahem ahem lets get to business. Tennis was cartoony but incredibly fun. A 10 year old beat me in the 1st game(i noe shame on me), but I made a comeback in the 2nd game
Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 WAS SUPER AWESOME!!!!! I had the time of my life beating my friend with gohan v/s Super Saiyan Trunks... and then loosing to his Gohan v/s my BABY VEGETA MONKEY FORM(shit I suck ).
Didn't get to play anything else, got a really good experience from that girl, oh wait I mean tutorial, on Tennis. It seems she's frequent to that place(and my age to!!!). Sadly I dont live in Hyderabad, but in New Delhi. Was just here for a week in the ISB Campus(HUGE, beautiful, blissful, peaceful, wait did i mention parties??).
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE(and many other's) - PC
PC gaming has been the mascot for games through and through, offering game defining graphics(on those games which define them only), next generation(actually many generations ahead) graphics with games like CRYSIS and hopefully CRYSIS 2(cant wait for it). All games can me made for PC(but F*** console only games like gears, halo, etc, they fear the PC version will be more popular... well ofcourse it will they are FPS).
But to mention, Gears 1 on PC also made me uneasy(actually all UE3 games including Bioshock, maybe I have some tiff with it from my previous birth). Well I can definitely conclude that PC users are more likely to give satisfaction to gamers, soo much that it might make them passionate enough to make the CANCER Curing Baby(oh wait, i'm deviating from the topic, darn it that girl hyeah: ).
For those who love the controller, I think X360 controller works pretty well on PC. FPS is ofcourse a blast thanks to the UNBEATABLE combo of Kbd+Mouse(i mean that).
:sigh: cant stop thinking abt h.... of shit not again. Sorry guys. Well that's it I guess. Although my review period was very short, the only conclusion I can make from this time is that Wii is the STANDOUT, and PC is the BEST for everything else. (anybody who differs in opinion, ....... well I cant do anything about it but please X360 and PS3 fans, dont kill me!!! )...
