Yep the title is right guys.
I'm running 8800GTS 320MB SLI on MSI 890GXM-G65 (a CF only board) and its running perfectly fine and scalling pretty weel as is evident from the benches.
The reason i chose 8800GTS 320MB for SLI : got them for vey cheap (4.5k for both) and i didnt want to blow a lot of money on an experiment that i didnt know would succeed.
Hardware used :
CPU -> AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.1GHz (200 x2 0.5)
Board -> MSI 890GXM-G65
Ram -> 2*1GB GSkill Ripjaws 1600MHz @ 8-8-8-20
GPU -> 2 nos. XFX 8800GTS 320MB Fatal1ty Edition
PSU -> Corsair TX850W
OS -> Win 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 v.172 (Buld String 7600)
Benches run -> 3D MArk 06 & Cinebench 11.5 (x64)

The best thing is now we can run SLI on any motherboard irrespective of whether it officially supports SLI or not and this applies to all Intel & AMD chipsets. All nvidia cards are supported even the latest GTX 480 and the latest Forceware too (v257)
So if you want any more benches then let me know and if you guys want to know how to enable SLI then please let me know.
The only problem that this experiment has done to me is that now i've two sound cards lying useless as i dont have anymore free slots on my mobo.
So if any1 is interested in buying a 2 months old Creative Audigy Vale and a 3 days old Asus Zonar DX then please let me know.
