Xbox 360 firmware flashing

anybody done this here? just got my x360 w/ a sammy - waiting for the torx 10 screwdriver to open the case and install the new firmware.

any feedback regarding media+dvd burner compatibility -- does the samsung work with benq written dvds? what brand/speed +R DL media is available in mumbai/india...?

First check which DVD-ROM you got, is it Hitachi/Samsung/Philips. Then check its model number. Its not easy at all or can i say if you mess something up you will get a bricked box in your hands....
