XBOX 360 PRO : Buying Advice Needed

I am currently in Melbourne and am planning to travel back to blore in 5 days.

I looked around at JB HI-FI today in Melbourne,
There's a offer on XBOX 360 PRO, i get the following with the console
60 GB HDD
1 wireless remote
1 HDMO cable
3 Games: Gears of WAR 1, Gears of war 2, and Assasins creed
All the above for 449$ AUD.... Going back to india the coming weekend so i get the GST back...so its around 410$ which comes to 16k INR
So, is this worth buying or should I buy it from INDIA itself????

Also... should I look for anything particular while buying the consoles...as I plan to get it modded after 2-3 months
 
mate befor u buy make sure that its jasper right now only xbox360 arcade 512mb is the guaranteed console with new 65nm technology....
 
If you're planning to return to Australia then buy the console. If it's a permanent return to India then buy it out here. Claiming warranty should be your top priority.

I thought microsoft gave a global warranty:S

Anyways...if no warranty then no console...

BTW: how do i identify a Jasper version from a normal XBOX:huh:

Look at the Powerbrick , it should say something like Output DC - 150W

Some modders remove the MS warranty sticker without damaging it. When replacing a console they (MS) don't check if it's modded or not, they only check if the warranty sticker is in place & isn't damaged. If luck favors then you should get a brand new console. ;)
 
Buy a PS3 and be happy :hap2:

No Need of any modding & worrying about RROD, break down, etc. but warranty is a must for free replacement :clap:

Yeah and he can be happy buying 2500 per game !!!! (If not more !)

Modding is done so that he can play the *Ahem* games which are much cheaper. :ohyeah:
