ppl who got the earlier x360 might feel

why didnt they implement it earlier :@​
 
I'd be happy if this meant a slimer design with newer colours. Right now though, it just sounds like a costlier X360 and that's all. Also, I feel HDMI and 1080p are horribly overated.
 
Ps3 has been connected with external 720gb hard drive. They really shouldn't worry about the hard drive and let people buy the size they think is most suitable to them buy it as an extra, like building a PC.

In other note, M$ shouldn't let news on its next console out, the next-gen has just begun its war, and seeing stuff like this will make X360 look 'old'.
 
Microsoft's Chris Satchell has dismissed rumours of revised Xbox 360 hardware sporting an HDMI port and a high-capacity hard disk, even claiming that photographs rustled up by our old friend Internet Reports mean very little. "At the moment, everything you might have seen is just looking at our experimentation back in Redmond, not really a product that we're thinking about announcing," Satchell - head of Microsoft's game developer group - told GameSpot.

The Microsoft man was also cool on the prospect of a standalone hard disk upgrade to one of the mooted higher capacities (60, 100 and 120GB devices have been "seen" in the wild): "As we produce these services, if we see an increase in pressure that's something that will be interesting to look at, but there isn't any announcement today about any new configuration that may or may not be happening," he added.

who said M$ is incurring loss anymore? They are now actually making profit on each xbox hardware sold.

And IMHO Xbox needs HDMI. So i wont be mad if they release HDMI version. At least give user option to opt for HDMI version at little extra cost.

May I know who gave you that news? :rofl: If it were sold for a profit, we'd get it for cheap... like we get software and mice/keyboards. But unfortunately its as expensive to us as it is to the general public which means they are taking a huge loss on this one :P.
 
Yeah, that article is clearly falsified. What would be more frightening is if Sony is in reality losing 300$ of each console. It would almost feel as if Sony is presenting you with a free X360 with every PS3 purchase.:P
